When Alaina and I started the Words of Life Music channel on Youtube, we had a simple mission: Edify People and Glorify God through music. Pretty simple and straightforward. We would use our talents, abilities, and relationship with 20+ year (each) walk with the Lord to write biblically accurate music that would help people draw closer to Jesus, while they run their race. I'd written some poems and songs over the years, and this was the perfect place for them, as well as the burgeoning well of creativity that's been storing up for years within both of us.
Now that that channel has been out for about 2 1/2 months, I think it's safe to say that the channel is doing exactly what we hoped it would!
By the grace of God, our channel has already exceeded 100k views with over 3k hours of watch time! Praise the Lord! With the combination of original songs, scripture made songs, and Hymns Reborn—we've been able to reach people all around the world with the life-changing message of love and hope that is only found in Jesus Christ!
The comments continue to come in from viewers everywhere, that this music is just what they were looking for, just what they needed. With all the music that's out there today, it's so humbling for Alaina and I to think that the Lord would be able to use us! We hope that our music encourages you in your relationship with God too, and if it has, we'd love to know about it!
Since we launched the channel and began releasing music, one comment request from our listeners was for us to make the songs available for download/purchase.
